Dc - Brazilian by birth yet unconventional in outlook his accounting degree served as a template of a life to avoid. At eighteen he was touring South America with Oficina G3, which was to eventually be nominated twice for the Latin Grammy Awards.

In 2001 his dreams of making his own musical imprint on the world took him to the USA. These rock and roll dreams faded in the cold light of day and the guitar in his hand replaced with a mop.

Two years, two marriages and uncountable hedonistic, nasally erosive misadventures best left unmentioned later, Dc emerged disillusioned yet morosely determined to dive back into the world of music which these various temptations had distracted him from.

He’d played in nine bands and recorded more than 80 songs in less than 3 years but Dc couldn’t find his niche until a Canadian group he met moved into his apartment in Florida. An eviction notice followed shortly, his life was crammed into a van and they left to tour. They never got much further than acoustic, half drunken renditions of their aspirations. Dc found himself crashing on some stranger’s floor, his belongings having been transformed to beer and crack embers burning blisters in his dreams. He walked out.

An offer to open a studio with a good friend soon saw him recording and producing bands. In 2006 Dc got a call from “Lennon” and was to play guitar for her on the ‘Route of Evil Tour’, opening for Motley Crue and Aerosmith, but the ever elusive green card prevented him.

Tired after 6 years of fighting US Immigration he decided to go somewhere where he could have papers and peace. He landed in the UK. Clean, alone, full of new ideas and unfathomable energy, Dc is back and for the first time the multi musician will be singing in the epic, flamboyantly melodic album Unbreakable to be released December 2008. Also in the pipeline is his consumingly varied instrumental project Devolution.

It is impossible to encapsulate Dc in a couple of paragraphs. This brief synopsis nowhere near does justice to the intensity with which he has immersed himself, suffered, experienced, lost and gained for his passion – music, and the resulting adventures definitely could fill a book.
